Playback & Queue

Press play on any song, album, or playlist and Zuno Music starts playing, with a mini player at the bottom of the screen and full controls a tap away.

The mini player sits at the bottom of the screen while music plays. Tap it to open the full Now Playing screen. On iPad, the mini player sits in the centre with extra controls, including quick access to lyrics and Up Next.

The Now Playing screen has the artwork, transport controls (play/pause, skip, previous), and the progress bar.

  • Jump to album or artist — tap the song’s title while it’s playing to go straight to that song’s album or artist.
  • Lyrics — follow along with lyrics that scroll with the song.
  • Up Next — see and manage what’s coming up (below).

On iPad, Now Playing uses the extra room to show lyrics and Up Next alongside the artwork and controls, rather than on top of them.

Up Next is your play queue — the songs lined up after the current one. Open it from Now Playing (or the mini player on iPad) to:

  • See what’s coming up.
  • Reorder or remove upcoming songs.
  • Add songs to play next or later.

When you play an album or playlist, it fills the queue. Playing something new replaces the queue.

You can see the credits for a song — open the song’s options or its album to find them.

Your playback picks up where you left it. When you reopen Zuno Music, the player restores your session so you can carry on.
